PostSubject: Dual Hydraulics?   Sun Apr 15, 2012 6:48 pm

I have a 1962 1010 with dual hydraulics on the three point. Can anyone tell me what implements make use of dual hydraulics? My operators manual is for a 1010 wheel tractor and not a 1010 row crop so it does not even mention a dual hydraulic system. I will be trying to get correct operators manual but not sure whether there will be much info in it other than how to operate it.

Hi, dual hydraulics are used to lift different parts of
cultivators separately.
Lift the front set at the end of a row, before the rear set, to cover the wheel tracks.
Or if set to lift one side at
a time on end rows for single row cultivation.

For every day use lock the inside lift lever
back and set the hand wheel under the seat
for single use.

Buy the manual on CD from Mother Deere
for your model 1010.
Later,
Doug

Doug,

Thanks for the info. Is that what that hand wheel is for? I was wondering what that does. I definitely need the correct operators manual. I have the pump out of it now to fix some leaks so I can't even try it to make sure it works. I was able to free the pin that connects the two arms on the left and I do know the three point works with them pinned together. I'm waiting on a needle bearing for the pump so I can get that back in.
