I am about to go and pick up a 1962 (the year I was born too) JD 1010. It looks rough with some rust holes on the hood, bad seat and dirty, this gas tractor runs, PTO works and the lift works. Paying $1350 to the guy that bought it from a lady who was bush hogging for $1300. This will go with my 1963 JD 3010. It is a diesel that runs and I just put new tires on it, but the PTO clutch now needs work. Plan to use my JD 1010 to do some mowing/bush hogging work around my 15 acres and for my son to make some money to pay for it and keep it running. Got to pick up a battery for it... any recommends? Question
