Hello all!! New guy here. Just purchased a 65 JD 1010 and am wondering if I can install a model 47 loader onto my 1010? What might be the concerns if I do this?

| http://www.chatstractors.com/1374_john_deere_2020_tractor.htmThis link has some good close-ups of that loader. Looking at it I'd say it's a definite maybe. There might be some fab/welding work to mount the brackets on the side of the tractor, but on mine there are some big bosses there to bolt to. My tractor came factory with the 710 loader which is a very substantial unit that adds a whole under carriage to the tractor to support the bucket. | |

| Most loaders use a high volume pump driven off of the front of the crankshaft. It may come with the loader. | |
