| We have been given a 1010W backhoe loader to use at our Scout Camp. Had to trailer it 600km. It's a 1961 model S/n 17944 with about 7500 hours Gas model. Everything works... brakes have one bad disk that will have to be replaced shortly. Loader is Model 710 S/N 285 Backhoe is Model 50. Not sure about serial number on it. Have manuals with it... however main tractor manual is for s/n 42001 - up, so shows the gear shifter on the transmission. It's been modified to negative ground, and has a few loose wires that will need to be terminated. Was originally owned by a City crew for it's first 11 years, then on a farm in Saskachewan, where we picked it up. | |

| Hello that's one clean looking 1010 you've got there. I've got the same tractor without the backhoe. Do you have the manual for the 710 front loader? One of the dump cylinders is leaking on mine and I can't figure out how to get it apart. Also do you have any more pics of the backhoe and attachments? | |

Yes we have the manuals for the tractor and also the loader and backhoe. The tractor manual is for a later serial number, however. I do have more pix, but not handy. Will probably be seeing the tractor next week and can take some detail photos if you wish to sort out some issue with the loader. Darwould.

| Is the loader manual a lot of pages? Could it be scanned? I'd be willing to pay for it and having one available might help some other folks. If it's to big a scan or picture of an exploded view of the dumb cylinder would be very useful.
I have an early 1010 factory manual. It does not cover some of the industrial/landscape tractor items like power steering.
On the backhoe I'm just interested on the attachment points. There are these huge plastic bushed bosses in various places on the back of the tractor and it would be nice to know how they were meant to be used.
My tractor was an assembled basket case when acquired. It barely ran and had 4 layers of peeling paint. The 1st 2 were yellow and the top 2 were green.
