which thermostat

My 65 1010 has been pushing into the hot range. Radiator, antfreeze, fan, hoses and water pump seem in good order. I'm going to replace the thermostat as a starting point. I live in southern Missouri with 10 degree winter days and 90+ degree summer days. The tractor gets the most use brush hogging in the summer. What degree thermostat would you recommend?

Since nobody chimed in I will answer my own question. Maybe it will help somebody in the future.

I bought the service manual and it states that the gas models came equipped with a 160 degree thermostat.

An interesting side note...the manual says the tractor came with a 3.5 to 4.5 psi radiator cap.

This is correct 160 degree. but also check the top radiator hose, this hose is very short and must have the wire in it to reinforce the hose from collapsing under pressure.
