Upgraded pto problem

I have a 1010 with dual pto shafts. They spin when not engaged but when I put the lever forward to engage the pto it grinds some and stops. If its spining while engaged it will stop when I lower the rototiller or implent. I could use some help, I need a tractor with a working pto real bad

Is their something I can try so I might not have to split this tractor? I heard there might be a pto clutch, could it be out of adjustment
Or would that be on a newer model
