This is a work in progress and I will update from time to time but I will try to list all the changes that the 1010 went under while in production from 1960-1965, any info you can give will help greatly.
1960, Original Design
1963, Beginning at serial #31,000 the 1010 received the 1st re-design of the 1010
---Shifter moved from Dashboard to top of transmission housing.
---Throttle handle moved from left side of steering wheel to the right side of the steering wheel.
---Round tube front axle was upgraded to a solid square front axle.
--- the four bolt transmission front mount was changed to seven bolts
---the final drive ratio was changed to slow the tractor 15% in all gears
---much heavier/larger ring and pinion were installed. The top of the trans case has a relief slot milled right through it. And a six bolt flat plate installed to provide clearance
1963 Beginning at Serial #42,001 some tweaks were made
---the original low pressure hydraulics was upgraded to High pressure hydraulics.
1964 Beginning at Serial #51043 the 1010 received the final re-design before being discontinued
