I have a 63 1010 Industrial tractor. It was in bad shape when I bought it for $1000 about 2 years ago. Since then it's gotten new brakes, fenders, seat, front bucket, exhaust manifold, rebuilt head, exectronic ignition and a new drag box. It's also gotten rewired, rebuilt powersteering valve, and new pins in the steering box. Oh yeah the carb was rebuilt too.
It also got it's 5th paint job which was a bear to do. Who ever did the 2nd paint job did a terrable prep job which caused the top 2 layers of green to peel down to the origional yellow. Yes it was ugly! I spent a whole weekend with a power washer and got most of the old paint off. Now shes got a nice pretty paint job with classic JD green and yellow and starts right up with just a bump of the starter. I'll follow up with some pics from my other computer later. Good to find this place!
