1010 Specials

The 1010 RUS (Row-Crop utility Special) is in all specs the same as the 1010 RU. The only difference between the two is that the RUS has a single 540 PTO and fewer gauges, only a coolant temp gauge compared to the RU which has a Coolant temp, Tachometer and a Fuel gauge. In 1961 the RUS was only $300 cheaper the standard 1010 RU.

The RUS was also spec'd to have a pan seat.

As discussed in more recent topics it seemed to be a hodge-podge of parts with all sorts of "options" being installed on the line. RUS is probably the most varied basic tractor on the planet. Frankenstein would have it so good.
