We finally got it ready to try to turn over and it really started pretty easily considering it hasn't run in over 2 years.
Shot a short video of my son driving his Great Grandfather's tractor.
To date we have replaced alternator, coil, starter, battery, and all wiring. Fixed a leak in the radiator, rebuilt the carb, and upgraded to electronic ignition. Next big thing on the agenda is new tires. How these rotted ones stay on the wheels is beyond me. We're just riding on the tubes, which, by some miracle, hold air for a day or two.
The brakes seem to be very good and the tranny seems solid.
We have a leak in the PTO seal that we hope is a fairly easy fix. Then there's all the little stuff to keep us busy in between major projects.

Thanks go to you JD. We used your "New Carb" video to set the idle by ear since we don't have a tach and you show your tach in the vid.
We are still a tad fast. It's hard to hear the video on the phone, listen to ours, and balance it all while turning a screwdriver. Just needs another little twist.
